3-desoxy-MDPV (5-dihydrobenzofuranpyrovalerone, 5-DBFPV) is a substance of the cathinone class with stimulant properties, a homologue of MDPV (Methylenedioxypyrovalerone). It is an experimental designer drug with effects similar to MDPV.
Chemistry
5-dihydrobenzofuranpyrovalerone is an analog of methylenedioxypyrovalerone, with the addition of the 3-desoxy group.
Pharmacology
The toxicological and pharmacological properties of the drug are not fully understood. According to independent data and tests performed on rats, this drug can have stimulating effects similar to those of cathinones: high energy, high level of activity, higher arousal and higher sexual activity.
