4C-MAR

4-Chlorine-4-methylaminorex (other names: 4C-4-MAR, 4C-MAR) is a substance of the 2-amino-5-aryloxazoline class with stimulant effects, a chlorinated metabolite of aminorex. The effects of this substance are often likened to methamphetamine, but with a longer duration of action.

Chemistry

4-Chlorine-4-methylaminorex is a chlorinated analog of aminorex and has a similar chemical structure.

Pharmacology

4C-MAR is a designer substance whose toxicological and pharmacological properties are not fully understood. All data presented are from observational and chemical studies in mice.
4C-MAR may cause effects similar to those of aminorex: stimulation, increased blood pressure, dilated pupils, agitation, concentration at moderate doses, euphoria.

4-Chlorine-4-methylaminorex may not be legal in countries where aminorex analogs are controlled substances.
