MDPCP

Methylenedioxyphencyclidine (3,4-MD-PCP, MDPCP) is a dissociative designer drug, a derivative of arylcyclohexylamine. This drug has similar effects to drugs such as 3-MeO-PCP and 4-MeO-PCP.

Chemistry

MDPCP (Methylenedioxyphencyclidine) is an arylcyclohexylamine derivative and has a related structure, with the distinctive feature of a methylene dioxic functional group bound to the phenyl ring.

Pharmacology

Studies in mice have shown that MDPCP acts as an agonist of the NMDA receptor, causing dissociative effects and altering sensory perception.It is also reported that this drug has an affinity of 63 nM for NMDARs and is quite selective against other receptors, including monoamine transporters, as well as opioid receptors.
The exact dosage of the drug has not been studied. It is not intended for human use.
