Deschloroetizolam

Deschloroetizolam (Etizolam-2) is a substance of the thienodiazepine class that has anxiolytic, antidepressant, hypnotic, muscle relaxant, amnesic and anticonvulsant effects of exposure. This substance is a designer analogue of drugs such as etizolam and alprazolam.

Chemistry

Deschloroetizolam is a benzodiazepine in which the benzene ring is replaced by a thiophene (thienodiazepine),. and differs from etizolam by removing the chlorine atom in the 2′ position of the phenyl ring. This substance contains a thiophene ring connected to a diazepine ring (a seven-membered ring with two nitrogenous components on R1 and R4), where thiophene is a five-membered aromatic ring with one sulfur atom and forms a thienodiazepine core of dechloroethisolam, an ethyl chain is connected to this bicyclic structure at point R7, a phenyl ring is connected at point R5, and also contains a methylated triazole ring connected to the R1 and R2 diazepine ring.

Pharmacology

Deschloroetizolam is a designer substance and its toxicological and pharmacological properties have not been fully studied, all the information presented is based on observation during the study and testing of the substance on mice.
Deschloroetizolam has the property of binding to the site of the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptor and acting on its receptors, which causes the sedative effect of the substance.
This substance is approximately stronger than etizolam, its exposure time is about 2 times longer.
Deschloroetizolam causes cognitive effects such as amnesia, anxiety suppression, slow thinking, euphoria, emotion suppression.
This drug can cause severe psychological addiction when taken regularly.
It is not recommended to use this substance with alcohol, other benzodiazepines, other sedatives and opioids, due to the increased effect of exposure, which can lead to unpredictable consequences.
