Etodezitramide (other names: R-4837, 2-Benzimidazolinone) is an opioid drug of the benzimidazolone class, a powerful analgesic developed in the 1960s by Janssen Pharmaceuticals. This drug has been tested for opioid activity (Ki = 0.1 nM), 15 times stronger than fentanyl.
Pharmacology
Studies in rodents have shown that Etodezitramide acts as a strong analgesic, causing a relaxing effect.
The toxicological and pharmacological properties of the drug are under study. There is no data on the dosage.
