DMNPC

DMNPC (N,O-Dimethyl-4β-(2-naphthyl)piperidine-3β-carboxylate) is a stimulating drug based on piperidine, a nocaine derivative. This drug acts as an inhibitor of dopamine recovery and a powerful inhibitor of serotonin reuptake, which is about 2.5 times more active than cocaine. Chemistry

DMNPC is synthesized from arecoline, a grignard reaction with 2-naphthylmagnesium bromide and its chemical structure is similar to nocaine.

DMNPC acts as a stimulant and has four stereoisomers, each with a different binding affinity. The effects and effects of DMNPC are similar to nocaine and have similar potency as fluoxetine, but with greater activity.
